Please contact Lisa Schwartz, at ude.anozira.liame@eertasil 9th grade GEAR UP Teachers from Cholla, Desert View, Pueblo, Sunnyside and Tucson High Schools, we welcome you to invite UA Graduate Students in Science, Math, or Technology to your classroom. Speakers Bureau Details - 20+ UA STEM Graduate Students who can visit your science/math class or related event.
- Students give presentations and/or lead activities related to their STEM research and areas of expertise. Speakers can customize for teacher needs.
- Speakers receive a stipend for 2-3 hrs. Stipend funded by Tucson GEARUP, NASA Space Grant, and the UA COS.
- Free for Eligible Teachers. Those who teach Science & Math to Tucson GEAR UP Students - 9th graders at Cholla, Desert View, Pueblo, Sunnyside & Tucson Magnet High Schools.
